    Birthday Parties, Anniversaries and Family Celebrations


    Kindly fill out the form below to inquire about our Party Rentals! As our party time slots often fill up one to two months in advance, we recommend calling to reserve your party as soon as you have a date in mind in order to secure your requested day.

    Party Location: Our party spot is a beautiful shaded area with picnic tables by all of our interactive things like our Pirate Ship, Maze, Tree Forts & more! Your party rental reserves the four picnic tables in the center of our garden as well as various round tables for cake serving and extra seating.  The Garden remains open to the public during parties.

    You are welcome to bring in food, drinks, table scarves and a craft. Please do not bring alcohol, balloons confetti, or any dangerous objects. As much as we love music, we ask that you do not bring it in as we love the nature sounds and children's laughter! Wagons are available to help transport your things to the party area, and we have a refrigerator and freezer in our cottage. We are unable to open the large side gate due to safety concerns. We hope you enjoy our garden but kindly take care of our plants and flowers along with our beautiful sculptures and buildings.​

    Party Size: You may invite up to 30 guests to your party, please note all adults and children ages 3+up are included in your guest count. (Children must be accompanied by their guardians, drop-offs are not permitted.) Each additional guest over 30 is $10+tax, with a firm limit of 35 guests in total. Party guests that hold annual memberships are still included in the 30-guest limit. The birthday child, siblings, and parents do not count toward your limit, however. We require a guest list of all guests ages 3+up when you arrive on the day of your party.
    Price: Our standard rate for a two-hour party covers entry for all your guests and reserves your space. To confirm your date, we ask for the full deposit in advance.
    • Party Dates from October to April: $240+tax
    • Party Dates from May to September: $225+tax

    Refund Policy: Refunds are available by check for party cancellations up until 2 weeks prior to the date of your party. In the case of rain, we will do our best to find a date that works for you to reschedule your party, or we can offer a refund of your deposit by check.

    Time Slots: Party reservations at The Garden are from 11am to 1pm on weekends and 1pm to 3pm on weekdays. You may arrive a half-hour before your party time to set up, and you have a half-hour after the end of your time slot to clean up, with a $50+tax fee for every additional half hour that your party is not cleaned up by.

    All who are interested in booking a birthday party at the Garden must read and agree to abide by our guidelines below and sign our waiver in order to finalize their reservation.  If you have questions about a potential party, feel free to email us at [email protected] or call (941) 330-1711 to make your deposit over the phone.     Party Guidelines & Agreements

    Please read the information about having a party at The Children's Garden and sign below that you understand and agree to the following terms, limitations and liabilities: 
    * You are allowed 1/2 hour to set up and break down your party.
     If extra time is needed for set up from 10 to 10:30am, an additional charge of $50.00 + tax will be charged.   All parties must be cleaned up promptly at 1:30pm during the weekend time or 3:30pm for those weekday parties or a $50+tax will automatically be added to your credit card.  Please be respectful of the garden, its plants and decorations. You are responsible for any and all damages to the property from you or your guests while hosting a party at The Children's Garden!  Thanks for choosing us
    • I will not bring in music
    • I will provide a guest list on the date of my party
    • I will not bring in alcohol. 
    • I will not bring in confetti, balloons, swords or objects that may harm children or the garden.
    • I will not allow children to be dropped off by their parents, regardless of age.
    • I agree to provide proper adult supervision for all my guests.
    • I will be liable & responsible for any guests in my care.
    • I will pay for any damages done to the garden, cottage, sculptures or the dress-up room. This applies solely to me or my guests or by someone in our party during the times of our event and the setup and breakdown times.
    • I will be mindful of the dress-up room and clean up after my guests.
    • I acknowledge that my rental fee allows a maximum of 30 guests. Any extra guests 3 years on up are charged $10+tax, not to exceed 35 total guests.
    • I have read all of the information and agree to all of the terms.
    • I release The Children's Garden from any liability.

Nature Add-ons are now Crafts-To-Go by The Children’s Garden.  Purchase individually during your next visit to the Garden, or in larger quantities for your next party or event. We ask for two weeks’ notice and a 50% deposit when purchasing for reservations and parties in order to ensure availability.  All kits are completely self-contained with everything you need for a magical crafting experience. They’re easy to bring home or take traveling, and they also make great party favors!

Dragon + Fairy Dish Garden: $14+tax each
(Discounted to $12+tax with purchase of 12 or more)  
  • The Dragon’s Lair Rock Garden includes a sturdy dish with coco substrate, dragon figurine, pebbles and glass gems, moss and mini plants, dragon treasure hoard and real geode.
  • ​The Fairy Dish Garden includes a crystal dish with sparkly sand substrate, fairy figurine, gems and pebbles, moss and silk flowers, fairy gazing pond and mini bottle pendant with pixie dust.

Bug  Hotels Kit:$12+tax
(Discounted to $10+tax with purchase of 12 or more)

The Bug Hotel Kit includes a bug collection cup with magnifying glass, two plastic bugs, Crayola crayons to color your bug hotel, and a “My Bug Jar!” thumbprint craft with ink strip and bug stickers to decorate your cardstock bug jar. 

Mini Coloring Books: $6+tax
These travel-sized coloring books have 4 Crayola crayons and 12 pages of Garden favorites to color, from Snuffy the Dragon to the Pirate Ship, all printed on sturdy cardstock that’s perfect for car rides and plane trips.
